Upgrading to Firefox, conclusion

Now that I’ve upgraded from Firebird to Firefox (see also part 1 & part 2) and had a few weeks to get settled in, was it worth it? In a word, no.

The only benefits I’ve seen are:

Nothing much to write home about, is it? Certainly not worth hours of faffing. Hey ho.

Comments:
I have to say I find it an improvement in terms of usability. However I still experience it crashing/eating up CPU when left open for a few hours, which is a pain. Isn't the point that it's just a leaner version of Mozilla? Oh and the pretty icons...

Better usability? Which bits?

Like you say, improved nav of toolbar folders, and the options dialog is friendlier than the Mozilla preferencs. It just feels more user-friendly; less of a geek toy and more like a browser for everyone.
